Why are the blanket colors not as bright or visible as regular prints?
Our 3-layer organic muslin blankets are designed differently. The hand-block printing is done on the middle layer, while the outer two layers are kept plain and natural. Because the print sits beneath the fine muslin layers, the colors appear soft, subtle, and slightly muted rather than bold. This gives the blanket its signature faded, airy, almost watercolour-like look.
Are your fabrics organic and chemical-free?
Yes, we use only organic cotton and natural dyes, ensuring our products are free from harmful chemicals, making them safe for you and the environment.
Do the colors fade after washing?
Since we use natural dyes, slight fading over time is normal, adding to the beauty of hand block prints. To maintain colors, wash gently in cold water with mild detergent and dry in the shade.
Are these muslin blankets washable?
Yes, our organic muslin blankets are machine washable. We recommend washing them separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Avoid bleach and harsh detergents, and dry in the shade to help preserve the softness, natural dyes, and hand-block printed details.
As the blanket is made from natural cotton and dyed by hand, a little change in color or texture over time is a natural part of its character.
Will my blanket look exactly like the one shown in the picture?
No two blankets are exactly the same. Since each blanket is hand block printed and made with natural dyes, you may notice slight variations in colour, print placement, and texture. Small imperfections are a natural part of the handmade process—and that is what makes each blanket uniquely yours.
